Rutland County Council has selected TOTAL CARE MATTERS LTD to manage and deliver services at a new children’s residential home under a contract valued at £4,443,750 excluding VAT (£5,332,500 including VAT).
The award decision was made on 19 October 2026. The contract is estimated to run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2032, with five possible one-year extensions based on performance, potentially extending the term to 31 December 2037.
The contract covers residential children’s home management and service delivery in Leicestershire and Rutland. The procurement received nine tenders, with one assessed at the final stage.
The notice states that the earliest date for contract signing is 5 November 2026; the award decision does not itself confirm that the agreement has been signed.
