Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Awarded £70,380 Respiratory Health Contract

North Tyneside Borough Council has selected Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust to deliver a specialist respiratory health inclusion service embedded within the North Tyneside Recovery Partnership (NTRP), under a contract valued at £70,380 excluding VAT.

The service will provide respiratory assessments, diagnosis, treatment optimisation, smoking cessation interventions, clinical advice and onward referrals for adults engaged with NTRP who face barriers to accessing mainstream healthcare and are at increased risk of respiratory disease.

The contract is expected to run from 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027, with a possible 12-month extension until 31 October 2028. The earliest date for signing the contract is 31 October 2026.

The award was made under the Provider Selection Regime’s Most Suitable Provider option, through a below-threshold procedure without competition.
