Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust Awards Optune Therapy Contract to Novocure

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust has awarded a contract to Novocure for the provision of Optune Therapy for private patients receiving brain tumour treatment at home under the Trust.

The contract has a value of £3.6 million excluding VAT (£4.32 million including VAT) and was awarded following a direct award procedure.

The contract is expected to run from 7 August 2026 to 6 August 2027, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, potentially taking the agreement through to 6 August 2028. Any extension will be agreed in writing by both parties following internal governance processes.
