First Response First Aid and St John Ambulance Cymru Win NRW Training Framework

Natural Resources Wales has appointed First Response First Aid and St John Ambulance Cymru to its new first aid training framework.

The framework will provide first aid training for NRW staff across Wales, covering First Aid at Work, requalification, Emergency First Aid and Emergency First Aid with Forestry.

First Response First Aid has secured Lot 1, covering North and Mid Wales, while St John Ambulance Cymru has secured Lot 2, covering South Wales. Each lot has a stated contract value of £125,000 excluding VAT, with the notice noting that framework lot values may be shared with other lots.

The framework is expected to run from 5 October 2026 to 4 October 2028, with two optional one-year extensions potentially taking it through to 4 October 2030.

NRW received 14 tenders for Lot 1 and 19 tenders for Lot 2.
