Oxfordshire County Council has awarded Aneemo Limited a £829,350 contract, excluding VAT, to deliver countywide mental health and suicide prevention training for professionals and volunteers working with Oxfordshire residents.
The service will provide and coordinate needs-led training covering mental health awareness, suicide awareness, trauma-informed practice, neurodiversity and vicarious trauma. The contract also includes evaluation, reporting, partnership engagement and optional additional services where demand or unmet need is identified.
The contract is estimated to run from 2 November 2026 to 1 November 2029, with the council holding a unilateral option to extend it by up to a further two years, potentially extending the term to 1 November 2031. The extension requires six months’ notice to the provider.
The contract is valued at £995,220 including VAT. The council may also specify up to £65,000 per year for additional and newly developed courses at its discretion, with this provision included within the stated contract value.
The award decision was made on 5 October 2026. The notice states that the contract is expected to be signed no earlier than 27 October 2026, following the standstill period ending on 26 October 2026.
