Four Community Organisations Awarded £1m Walsall Locality Contracts

Walsall Council has awarded four contracts for the provision of Resilient Communities Locality Leads across North, West, East and South Walsall.

T.P. Riley Community Association has been awarded the North Walsall contract, Old Hall Peoples Partnership will cover West Walsall, Manor Farm Community Association has secured East Walsall, and Nash Dom CIC has been appointed for South Walsall.

Each contract is valued at £250,000 excluding VAT, or £300,000 including VAT, taking the combined value of the four awards to £1 million excluding VAT.

The organisations will deliver locality and community-based support to help develop Walsall’s community, voluntary and faith sector. The service is intended to strengthen engagement between local organisations and anchor organisations, ensure the sector’s voice is heard, and support collaboration and volunteering.

The award decision was made on 22 September 2026. The contracts are expected to begin on 3 October 2026 and run until 2 October 2029, with two optional 12-month extensions potentially taking them through to 2 October 2031.
