Pembrokeshire County Council has awarded a £150,000 contract to Reed’s Grave Digging Ltd for the provision of grave digging services at selected sites within Pembrokeshire.
The contract is expected to run from 5 October 2026 to 4 October 2029, with the option to extend for up to a further two years through two one-year extensions, subject to agreement by both parties. The total value is £150,000 excluding VAT and £180,000 including VAT.
Reed’s Grave Digging Ltd, based in Goodwick, was the only tenderer, with one tender received and assessed. The company is classified as a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME).
The award decision was made on 22 September 2026, with the contract expected to be signed no earlier than 5 October 2026. The procurement was conducted as a below-threshold open competition.
