HCC Sept 2026 – Provision of Supported Housing at Westbury

Hertfordshire County Council is seeking a Registered Provider partner to develop, own and manage new supported housing at the Westbury site in Letchworth.

The scheme forms part of the Council’s programme to increase the supply and quality of supported living accommodation for disabled adults. The successful provider will be expected to bring development expertise, long-term ownership and housing management capability, with the development delivered on Council-owned land through a long lease arrangement.

Construction is planned across 2027/28 and 2028/29, with phased completion and handover expected between 2028 and 2030.

The procurement will use a Competitive Flexible Procedure, with shortlisted tenderers progressing through dialogue and potentially final tender stages.
