York St John University Awards Occupational Health Services Contract

York St John University has awarded a contract to Innovate Health Care Management Group Ltd for the provision of occupational health services following an open procurement procedure.

The contract is valued at £200,000 (including VAT) and is expected to commence on 9 September 2026, running until 8 September 2029, with the option to extend by up to a further two years through 1+1-year extensions.

According to the contract notice, the provider will deliver a nationwide occupational health service for the University’s staff and students, including support for campuses in York and the Docklands area of East London.

The service will also provide:

• Course clearances for students in the School of Science, Technology and Health.
• Course clearances for students in the School of Education, Language and Psychology.
• Placement assessments and clearances for students in the School of Science, Technology and Health.

The award decision was made on 25 June 2026, with the earliest contract signature date scheduled for 17 July 2026, following completion of the standstill period.

A total of eight tenders were received and assessed during the procurement process.
