Halton Borough Council has awarded People Potential Possibilities a contract worth £1,138,447.30 to provide short-term supported accommodation at Grangeway Court, Runcorn.
The service will provide emergency accommodation and support for people experiencing domestic abuse and families experiencing homelessness who have a priority need for short-term supported accommodation.
The provider will work with the council’s Housing Solutions Team to help service users access permanent accommodation, with resettlement support for up to four to six weeks after families secure long-term housing.
The contract is expected to run from 11 January 2027 to 10 January 2030, with two optional 12-month extensions potentially taking it through to 10 January 2032.
A total of seven tenders were received, with four assessed at the final stage.
