Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust has awarded a contract for the delivery of its Friends and Family Test (FFT) – Patient Experience service to Rate My Care Ltd.
The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) gives people using NHS services the opportunity to provide feedback on their experience, helping organisations understand patient satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
The contract has a value of £255,000 excluding VAT (£306,000 including VAT) and is scheduled to run from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2029. The agreement includes the option to extend for two additional 12-month periods, potentially taking the contract through to 31 August 2031.
The contract was awarded following an open procedure.
A total of eight tenders were received and assessed at the final stage. One tender was submitted by a small or medium-sized enterprise (SME), with Rate My Care Ltd selected as the successful supplier.
The award decision was made on 23 July 2026, with the standstill period due to end on 4 August 2026. The earliest date the contract may be signed is 5 August 2026.
The contract has been awarded to Rate My Care Ltd, an SME based in London.
