Hampshire County Council Awards Resettlement Accommodation Preparation Contract

Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract to Kayoski Care Limited for the provision of accommodation preparation services supporting the county’s refugee resettlement programmes.

The service will furnish and equip properties for individuals and families relocating to Hampshire, primarily under the Government’s Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS), Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP)and UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS). The contract may also support individuals and families who originally resettled under Community Sponsorship or transferred into the county.

The contract covers the procurement, delivery and installation of white goods, furniture, bedding, kitchen and bathroom equipment, and curtains or blinds in matched properties before families arrive. It also includes the provision of flexible staffing to support an average of 24 properties per year, together with removal services between properties where required.

The contract has a value of £777,600 excluding VAT (£933,120 including VAT) and is expected to commence on 3 August 2026, running until 2 August 2030.

The contract was awarded following an open procedure. Six tenders were received and assessed, with Kayoski Care Limited selected as the successful supplier. Assessment summaries were issued to tenderers on 29 June 2026, with the standstill period ending on 8 July 2026. The contract is expected to be signed on 17 July 2026.
