Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract to Third Hand Healthcare Ltd for the delivery of Care Support Services for Children with a Disability – CS26605A Standard Support.
The contract has a value of £250,000 excluding VAT and was awarded under the Care Support Services for Children with a Disability (2026) light touch framework following a competitive selection process.
The contract is expected to run from 1 September 2026 to 30 August 2030, with the potential to extend until 30 August 2034.
The contract covers the delivery of standard care support services for children and young people with disabilities. The service forms part of Hampshire County Council Children’s Services’ continuum of support and is available following a social care assessment where the Disabled Children’s Team criteria have been met or an unmet social care need has been identified.
The service supports children and young people with disabilities, including those with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autistic spectrum conditions, behaviour that challenges, and complex physical or mental health needs as part of an agreed Care Plan.
