Derbyshire County Council Awards NHS Health Checks IT Solution Contract

Derbyshire County Council has awarded a contract for the provision of an NHS Health Checks IT Solution to PRESCRIBING SERVICES LTD.

The solution will support GP practices, Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and other users in delivering NHS Health Checks within the community. It is designed to assess eligible patients’ cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk while supporting operational processes and monitoring the performance of the programme.

The contract has a value of £144,985.50 excluding VAT (£173,982.60 including VAT) and is scheduled to run from 1 April 2027 to 1 April 2030. The agreement includes options to extend for two additional one-year periods, potentially taking the contract through to 1 April 2032.

Competitive Procurement

The contract was awarded following an open procedure.

A total of 13 tenders were received and assessed at the final stage, with all submissions made by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). PRESCRIBING SERVICES LTD was selected as the successful supplier.

The award decision was made on 10 July 2026, with assessment summaries issued to tenderers on 23 July 2026. The earliest date the contract may be signed is 1 September 2026.
