Denbighshire County Council Awards Mental Health Supported Accommodation Contract

Denbighshire County Council has awarded a £1.5 million contract to Adferiad Recovery Ltd to deliver a Mental Health Supported Accommodation Project for people affected by homelessness.

The project will provide holistic, high-intensity supported accommodation for people with mental health needs, helping residents develop independent living skills while addressing issues including mental health, substance misuse and other barriers to sustaining accommodation. The service is designed to provide safe, secure accommodation alongside flexible, person-centred support to improve health, wellbeing, confidence and independence.

The contract has a value of £1,500,000 and is expected to run from 1 November 2026 until 31 October 2029, with the option to extend for a further two years until 31 October 2031. The extension is subject to continued grant funding from the Welsh Government.

As part of the contract, Stori will provide and manage the accommodation used for the service, including ensuring the properties meet housing regulations before delivery begins.

A total of eight tenders were received, with six progressing to the final assessment stage through an open procedure under the Light Touch Regime.
