Bracknell Forest Borough Council has awarded a contract for the provision of nursing, dementia nursing and hotel services at Heathlands Care Centre to Aura Bracknell Consultancy Limited.
The contract is valued at £57,193,215 excluding VAT (£68,631,858 including VAT) and is expected to commence on 8 April 2027.
The initial contract term will run for five years until 7 April 2032, with the option to extend for three further five-year periods. If all extensions are used, the contract could continue until 7 April 2047, giving a maximum term of 20 years.
Two tenders were received and assessed, with Aura Bracknell Consultancy Limited selected as the successful supplier. Windsar Care Limited was unsuccessful.
The award decision was made on 3 September 2026, with the contract expected to be signed from 23 October 2026.
