Leeds City Council Awards £99k Adoption England Support Contract

Leeds City Council is set to award a £98,908 contract to Family Rights Group for services supporting the Adoption England Strategy.

The direct award will see Family Rights Group provide services in support of the strategy, with the contract covering welfare services for children and young people.

The contract is valued at £98,908.33 excluding VAT and £118,690 including VAT.

The initial contract is expected to run from 6 August 2026 until 30 September 2026, with an option to extend for 12 months in any combination, potentially taking the agreement through to 30 September 2027.

The award decision was made on 5 November 2025, with 6 August 2026 listed as the earliest date the contract will be signed.

The contract has been awarded through a below-threshold procedure without competition under the light touch regime.

The notice lists contract locations covering the North East, North West, Yorkshire and the Humber, East Midlands, West Midlands, East of England, London, South East and South West of England.
