The London Borough of Ealing Council has launched a procurement for the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, an integrated 0–19 years public health service across the borough. The service forms part of the national Healthy Child Programme (HCP), providing evidence-based prevention and early intervention led by Health Visitors and School Nurses.
The procurement is being undertaken using the Competitive Flexible Procedure under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, with the new contract expected to commence on 1 January 2027.
The contract covers the delivery of an integrated 0–19 Healthy Child Programme for children, young people and families across Ealing.
The Healthy Child Programme is a national prevention and early intervention public health programme led by Health Visitors and School Nurses. The procurement will be conducted through a two-stage process, consisting of an initial tender stage followed by a negotiation stage. The initial contract is expected to run from 1 January 2027 until 31 December 2031, with extension options available for up to a further three years.
