Multilingual Counselling for Croydon Talking Therapies

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is inviting bids for the provision of multilingual counselling services for Croydon Talking Therapies. The procurement covers the delivery of general counselling services alongside multi-ethnic counselling (MECS), providing evidence-based therapeutic and psychological interventions for people with common mental health conditions.

The successful provider will deliver counselling services that adhere to NICE guidelines for clients whose primary diagnosis is a common mental health issue. The contract is being procured through an Open Procedure under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.

The opportunity is not divided into lots.

Contract Value – £60,000 (excluding VAT)

Delivery Length – 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, with the option to extend for two further periods of 12 months each.

Regulatory Information

This procurement is being conducted under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The contracting authority confirms that the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this contract award.

The successful provider will be expected to deliver evidence-based therapeutic and psychological interventions in accordance with NICE guidelines.
