The London Borough of Hounslow has awarded a £12.34 million contract to Chosen Care Group Limited to provide extra care services for older people at Bridgewater House and Park Lodge Extra Care Schemes.
The contract, valued at £12,337,742 excluding VAT (£14,805,290 including VAT), will provide care and support for older adults, mainly aged 55 and over, with a range of needs. Services will aim to help residents live as independently as possible for as long as possible, supporting people with physical disabilities, frailty, dementia, learning disabilities, autism and mental health conditions.
The contract is estimated to run from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032, with possible extensions until 30 March 2035. The award decision was made on 22 October 2026, with the earliest contract signing date set for 1 December 2026.
The procurement attracted 15 tenders, with three assessed at the final stage. Chosen Care Group was the sole successful supplier, while Care-Away Limited and Carepoint Services Limited were unsuccessful.
