Reconstruct Wins £110,824 Stoke-on-Trent Regulation 44 Visitor Service Contract

Stoke on Trent City Council has awarded a £110,824 contract, excluding VAT, to RECONSTRUCT (CHILDREN AND ADULT SERVICES) LIMITED to provide independent Regulation 44 visitor services for children’s small group homes in the city.

The service will involve monthly independent visits to children’s homes in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015, providing scrutiny, assurance and reporting to support the quality, safety and welfare of children and young people living in residential care.

The award decision was made on 23 October 2026, with the contract expected to run from 16 November 2026 to 15 November 2028. A further 12-month extension option could extend the contract to 15 November 2029, bringing the potential total duration to three years. The initial contract value excludes the optional extension.
