Response Organisation Limited Awarded £395,000 West Berkshire Mental Health Support Contract

West Berkshire Council has awarded Response Organisation Limited a £395,000 contract, including VAT, to deliver housing-related support services for adults with a mental health diagnosis.

The service will provide flexible, person-centred floating support across West Berkshire to approximately 20–30 people, helping them maintain their tenancies and live independently. Support will include developing life skills, managing finances and accessing health, housing and community services, with the provider working alongside housing providers and mental health services to promote independence, improve wellbeing and prevent homelessness.

The award decision was made on 26 October 2026. The contract is expected to run from 1 December 2026 to 1 December 2029, with a possible two-year extension to 1 December 2031 under the stated 3+2 arrangement. The earliest date for contract signature is 25 November 2026.
