Bristol City Council has awarded a £1.4 million contract to Addiction Recovery Agency to deliver floating support services for people with higher support needs and a history of rough sleeping.
The service will support people living in unsupported temporary accommodation, those who have moved into private or social housing from supported accommodation, people released from prison, individuals discharged from hospital, and members of the legacy Golden Key Housing First cohort.
As part of the contract, the provider will also establish a Keeping In Touch service, offering remote support and a point of contact for up to a further two years for clients who have graduated from higher support but still require assistance to sustain their wellbeing.
The contract has a value of £1,447,509 excluding VAT (£1,737,011 including VAT) and is expected to run from 1 October 2026 until 31 March 2029.
A total of 14 tenders were received, with five progressing to the final assessment stage through an open procedure under the Light Touch Regime.
