The Mayor and Commonalty and Citizens of the City of London has named Thames Reach Charity for a £145,352 contract (excluding VAT) to continue delivering its Mobile Intervention Service (MIST).
The service provides outreach support to people identified sleeping rough in the City who are subsequently placed in emergency or temporary accommodation. The interim contract will see the service enhanced to meet increased demand under the Government’s new strategy to ensure every rough sleeper receives an offer of accommodation.
The contract has been awarded through a direct award process to maintain service continuity following the withdrawal of the tender for the City of London Street Homelessness Outreach and Support Service.
The contract is scheduled to run from 3 November 2026 to 31 March 2027, with an estimated duration of four months and 28 days. The notice lists 3 November 2026 as the earliest date for signing the contract.
