You Matter secures £750,592 Liverpool adult recovery services contract

Liverpool City Council has awarded a £750,592 contract (excluding VAT) to City of Liverpool Young Men’s Christian Association (Inc.), trading as You Matter to deliver adult recovery services in the city.

The contract will provide short-stay, intensive accommodation-based support for adults aged 18 and over who are experiencing homelessness or housing instability and using drugs and/or alcohol. The service is intended for people without dependent children who are motivated to make positive changes.

The contract has an estimated start date of 4 January 2027 and will run until 31 March 2028, with a possible extension to 31 March 2029. The initial contract term is 15 months.

The award decision was made on 2 November 2026, with the standstill period ending on 11 November. The earliest date for contract signing is 12 November 2026.
