Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council has selected LEARNACTIVE NW LTD for its Commissioned Short Breaks – Group Activity 2 contract, with a value of £168,500 excluding VAT (£202,200 including VAT).
The contract covers health and social work services in Greater Manchester. The award decision was made on 23 October 2026, with the earliest contract signing date set for 4 November 2026.
The estimated contract period runs from 4 January 2027 to 30 April 2028, with possible 12-month extensions, including an extension to 29 April 2029.
The council received six tenders, with three assessed at the final stage. LEARNACTIVE NW LTD was the sole successful supplier.
