Rochdale Borough Council has selected Stepping Stone Projects to deliver its Team Around the Young Person Accommodation Model (TAYPAS), with a contract value of £1,108,081.24 including VAT.
The contract will provide specialist, psychologically informed supported accommodation for young people aged 18–25 who have support needs and are at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness. The service will cover 28 self-contained accommodation units across three council-owned sites, with 24-hour support and management.
The contract is estimated to run from 2 November 2026 to 1 November 2029, with a possible extension of up to 24 months, taking the potential end date to 1 November 2031.
The award decision was made on 23 October 2026, and the earliest date for contract signing is 28 October 2026. The notice records six tenders received, with one supplier awarded the contract.
