The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Northamptonshire has awarded five contracts worth a combined £376,691.56 to deliver serious violence interventions across Northamptonshire.
Funding has been awarded to Free 2 Talk Community Interest Company (£94,280), Delapre Abbey Preservation Trust (£49,112.56), Athletic Elite Ltd (£120,000), The Compound Wellingborough CIC (£63,299) and Northampton Saints Foundation (£50,000).
The funding supports projects focused on primary prevention interventions under the Northamptonshire Serious Violence Prevention Partnership.
A total of 30 tenders were received, with 21 assessed at the final stage and five suppliers awarded contracts.
The contracts are expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027. Each includes three optional 12-month extensions, potentially extending the agreements to September 2030, subject to funding decisions and review.
