Renfrewshire Council is reopening its Flexible Framework for Care at Home and Housing Support Services to new providers.
The framework supports predominantly older people to remain independent in their own homes through tailored care and support commissioned by Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership. Services operate 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year, with occasional requirements for children’s services also possible.
New providers must meet the same minimum requirements as organisations appointed when the framework was originally established.

The Council’s specified hourly rate is £25.41, which tenderers must accept.

Providers must be registered with the Care Inspectorate for Care at Home and have a minimum Quality Grade of 3 across all key questions.
Providers must also hold combined Housing Support Service registration or demonstrate an ongoing application. Staff delivering services must be SSSC registered and PVG checked.
Tenderers must provide two examples from the last three years demonstrating relevant experience delivering similar registered services.
The reopening provides qualified care at home and housing support providers with an opportunity to join Renfrewshire’s existing flexible framework and compete for future care packages.
