NHS England has awarded Provide Community Interest Company a £46.46 million contract to deliver Child Health Information Services across the North East, Cumbria, Yorkshire and the Humber.
The service will establish and manage comprehensive child health records used to support organisations providing specified public health interventions and help ensure children are offered the full range of those interventions.
The contract is expected to run for five years from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2032, with an option to extend for a further two years to 31 March 2034, subject to satisfactory contractual and financial performance.
Three tenders were received and assessed, with Provide selected ahead of InHealth Intelligence Limited and Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust.
