The Ministry of Justice has awarded Victim Support a £24.442 million contract to deliver the National Homicide Service across England and Wales.
The service will provide support to bereaved family members, eyewitnesses of homicide and other eligible people affected by homicide.
The contract is expected to run from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2031, with an option for a 12-month extension to 31 March 2032.
One tender was received and assessed, with Victim Support selected as the successful supplier.
The award decision was made on 1 September 2026, with the earliest contract signing date set for 30 September 2026.
