West Midlands
Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council has awarded Upward Care a £3.96 million contract to provide care and support at the Sunhaven Extra Care Scheme.
The service provides self-contained accommodation alongside flexible on-site care and support, primarily for people aged 55 and over, helping residents maintain their independence and remain connected to their local community.
The contract is expected to run from 20 October 2026 to 19 October 2031, with extensions of up to four additional years potentially taking the agreement to October 2035.
The contract has been awarded directly to Upward Care under the Light Touch Regime.
