Neath Port Talbot Council has appointed 24 providers to a new £99.64 million open framework for domiciliary care services for older and disabled people.
The framework will provide person-centred care and support to adults in their own homes, including personal care, support with daily living activities and medication, with a focus on independence and wellbeing.
The framework is expected to begin on 2 November 2026 and can operate for up to eight years, comprising an initial framework of up to three years followed by a second framework of up to five years. It does not guarantee providers any volume of work.
A total of 40 tenders were received, with 35 assessed at the final stage and 24 providers appointed.
The award decision was made on 15 September 2026, with the standstill period ending on 24 September 2026.
