North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust has awarded Peterborough Funeral Services Ltd a £301,520 contract to provide bereavement and mortuary funeral services across Peterborough City Hospital, Stamford and Rutland Hospital and Hinchingbrooke Hospital.
The service will cover adult funerals, child funerals and sensitive burials.
The contract is expected to run from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2029, with an option to extend for a further 12 months to 30 September 2030.
The award decision was made on 27 August 2026 following a below-threshold light touch open competition, with two tenders received and assessed.
