Darlington Borough Council is set to award Hopscotch Care Limited a £1,746,857.82 contract for a children’s residential placement.
The contract is expected to run from 28 August 2026 to 17 April 2029.
The placement is being made through a direct award under the light touch regime, with the council citing extreme and unavoidable urgency and stating that an urgent placement is required.
