The Care Inspectorate is inviting people working in child contact services to take part in a series of consultation events as preparations continue for the registration and regulation of child contact services from 1 April 2027.
The two-hour sessions will include an update on the project timeline, plans for sustainable and trauma-informed change, and how lived experience will help shape the quality improvement framework. Most of each session will focus on gathering feedback from attendees about what is working well within child contact services and what could support children, young people and families in the future.
Feedback from participants will help inform the next stages of the Care Inspectorate’s work.

No preparation is required before attending. The Care Inspectorate is seeking participants’ experiences and views to help shape future regulation and quality improvement within child contact services.
