Healthcare estates and facilities professionals from across the UK will come together this October for the IHEEM Healthcare Estates Conference 2026, with NHS England’s National Estates Team set to deliver a series of sessions on some of the sector’s most important priorities.

Taking place on 13 and 14 October at Manchester Central, this year’s conference will explore the theme “Mind the Gap: Are We Heading Towards a Two-Tier Estate?”, examining the challenges and opportunities facing healthcare infrastructure across the NHS.

During the two-day event, the National Estates Team will provide updates on national programmes and guidance, with sessions covering topics including Health Technical Memoranda (HTMs), digital maturity, neighbourhood health centres, and other developments shaping the future of NHS estates and facilities.

Delegates will also have the opportunity to meet members of the National Estates Team at Stand D40, discuss current initiatives and learn more about ongoing national work.

Organised by the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), the conference will feature five specialist conference streams, more than 250 exhibitors, six free exhibition theatres, and a programme of networking opportunities for professionals working across healthcare estates, facilities and engineering.

Registration for the conference is now open.
