The London Borough of Hillingdon has awarded Whittington Health NHS Trust a contract worth £231,537.74 excluding VAT (£277,845.29 including VAT) for its Children’s Oral Health Promotion Service.
The service will continue the targeted delivery of supervised toothbrushing through schools and early years settings in areas of high need across the borough. It is intended to complement and enhance the existing NHS-funded Children’s Oral Health Promotion Service provided by Whittington Health through its Whittington Community Dental Services.
The contract has a stated service period from 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2027. However, the award notice estimates the contract dates as 29 October 2026 to 31 August 2027, with a duration of 10 months and three days.
The award decision was made on 28 May 2026, with 29 October 2026 listed as the earliest date for contract signing. The notice also provides for additional purchases during the contract period through permitted contract variations.
