The YOU Trust has been awarded a £700,000 contract by Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP Council) to deliver its Support & Connect service.
The service aims to help people maintain their independence, prevent or delay the development of long-term conditions and improve their wellbeing. It will provide one-to-one telephone and face-to-face support, as well as group support for up to 12 weeks, connecting people with local groups, activities and support services.
The contract is designed to help people remain independent at home for longer, stay connected and lead fulfilling lives through a strengths-based, person-centred approach.
The contract is scheduled to run from 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2029, with two potential one-year extensions available, which could extend the term to 31 December 2031.
BCP Council published the contract award notice on 29 October 2026. The earliest date for signing the contract is 30 November 2026.
