Majestic Healthcare and Three Providers Awarded £13.3m Coventry Supported Accommodation Contracts

Coventry City Council has awarded four contracts worth a combined £13.314 million excluding VAT for supported accommodation and floating support services for young people aged 16 and above.

The contracts cover shared and solo accommodation for children in care, care leavers and unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. The service aims to provide safe, supportive environments that help young people develop independent living skills and prepare for adulthood, with floating support available to those aged 18 and over moving into their own tenancies.

Majestic Healthcare Ltd has been awarded Lot 4, covering 27 shared beds across three-, four- or five-bed homes and one floating support unit. The contract is valued at £3.972 million excluding VAT (£4.766 million including VAT).

Starlight Support Services Ltd has secured Lot 5, covering the same provision of 27 shared beds and one floating support unit, also valued at £3.972 million excluding VAT (£4.766 million including VAT).

KATECARES.CONSULTANCY LIMITED has been awarded Lot 7 for a shared four-bed property with 24-hour staffing. The contract is valued at £2.526 million excluding VAT (£3.031 million including VAT).

Horizon Supported Accommodation Limited has secured Lot 8, covering six self-contained solo units within a shared property with 24-hour staffing, alongside one floating support unit. The contract is valued at £2.844 million excluding VAT (£3.413 million including VAT).

The contracts have an estimated start date of 1 April 2027 and an initial term running to 31 March 2030. Each may be extended by mutual agreement for a further three years, to 31 March 2033, subject to contract reviews and the Council’s decision.

The award decisions were made on 19 October 2026. The earliest date for contract signing is 7 December 2026, so the notice does not confirm that the agreements have been signed.

Coventry City Council did not award Lots 1, 2, 3 or 6 and said it intends to retender this provision in due course.
