Argyll and Bute Council Awards £24m Supported Living Services Framework to Six Providers

Argyll and Bute Council has named six providers for its £24 million supported living services framework for adults with complex care needs, including learning disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, complex mental health conditions and other lifelong health conditions.

The successful providers are Key Community Supports, Mariner Support Associates Ltd, Scottish Autism, Affinity Trust, Cornerstone Community Care and Care No1 Ltd, trading as The No1 Care Agency.

The services are intended to promote independence, improve health and wellbeing, support social inclusion and help people develop life skills and confidence. Support may include care at home, personal care and housing support, alongside opportunities to access community activities, education, training and paid employment.

The framework covers services in Argyll and Bute and the wider areas identified in the notice. The council intends to maintain an open pool of qualified providers, allowing new providers that meet its pre-qualification requirements to join during the framework’s term.

The notice describes a planned two-year contract. All six providers are listed with a contract conclusion date of 20 October 2026, although the notice’s additional information states that a 10-day standstill period must first expire before the contracts are entered into. Each individual award is listed at £1, while the total procurement value is stated as £24 million excluding VAT. The notice does not specify individual provider allocations.
