Youth Options Awarded Totton Youth Centre Services Contract

Totton and Eling Town Council has awarded a contract to Youth Options to deliver youth services from The Garage Youth Centre in Totton.

The contract will see Youth Options take responsibility for the operation of The Garage Youth Centre, a purpose-built facility located at Eling Recreation Ground. The centre provides recreational activities and dedicated spaces for young people, including a general activity area, music booth, craft room, ball pit, physical activity area and tuck shop.

The service will continue to provide support for young people aged 9 to 18, with the facility historically operating as a drop-in centre offering recreational activities during term time.

The contract has been awarded with a value of £359,520 excluding VAT (£431,424 including VAT).

The contract is expected to run from 1 September 2026 until 31 August 2031.

The procurement attracted one tender, which progressed through to the final assessment stage. The contract was awarded following a below threshold open competition.
