The Borough of Telford & Wrekin has awarded Country Court Care Homes 2 Limited an eight-year spot contract for the provision of older people’s residential and nursing care at Camberwell Lodge Nursing & Care Home.
The £917,664 contract will provide a care home placement for an individual requiring support with accommodation, personal care, meals, medication and day-to-day living.
The contract is expected to run from 21 September 2026 to 20 September 2034.
The council has made the award directly under the light-touch regime using the user choice justification. It stated that its existing frameworks were unable to meet the identified care and support requirements and that, following consultation with the individual and authorised representatives, only one provider was able to accommodate the requirements and the individual’s wishes.
