Neurodevelopmental Support Service (NDSS CYP) Pilot, Lewisham

South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a provider to deliver a 12-month pilot Neurodevelopmental Support Service (NDSS) for children and young people (CYP) with suspected Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) traits and their families in Lewisham.

The pilot is intended to provide a needs-led, relational, and recovery-focused support offer, with flexible delivery through home, school, community-based contact, and group provision. The service is designed to support children, young people, and families before or alongside formal neurodevelopmental assessment pathways.

The procurement is being undertaken through an Open Procedure and is particularly suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).

Service Overview

The successful provider will deliver a flexible support service for children and young people with suspected ADHD traits, alongside support for their families.

The service will be delivered through a combination of:

  • Home-based support
  • School-based support
  • Community-based contact
  • Group provision

The pilot is intended to provide a relational and recovery-focused model that responds to individual needs through a flexible approach.

Evaluation Criteria

The contract will be evaluated using the following weightings:

  • Technical (Quality): 60%
  • Social (Quality): 30%
  • Commercial (Price): 10%
