The Ministry of Justice has awarded Langley Trust a £9,007,784.25 contract for the provision of its Complex Move On service.
The service provides specialist risk management, rehabilitation and resettlement support for people on probation with complex needs who are accommodated within specialist accommodation settings.
It will support HMPPS by providing access to supported housing and additional support aimed at managing risk and reducing reoffending. The service is expected to operate in at least eight of the 11 Probation Service regions in England and accommodate a maximum of 350 people at any one time.
The five-year contract is expected to run from 1 April 2027 until 31 March 2032.
The contract was awarded through a direct award procedure under the light-touch regime, with the award decision made on 28 August 2026.
