19 Providers Appointed to Luton Alternative Education Framework

Luton Borough Council has appointed 19 providers to an open framework for alternative education provision covering primary, secondary and 16+ learners.

The framework will support learners who require provision to complement, extend or replace their existing curriculum, including pupils at risk of permanent exclusion, those who have been excluded, and learners unable to access school or further education because of medical grounds, mental health and anxiety conditions or complex learning disabilities. Provision can be delivered face-to-face or through online tuition.

The framework covers vocational education, therapeutic provision, Alternative Education Centres, one-to-one in-person tuition, online learning, provision for complex SEND and severe learning disabilities, and miscellaneous alternative education services.

The appointed providers are Ackerman Pierce Education Ltd, C & G Plastering Academy Ltd, Chance 2 Change Community Interest Company, Educ8 (Luton) Ltd, Embrace & Encourage Education CIC, Evolve Learning Centre Limited, Expertease Tuition Ltd, Fleet Education Services Limited, Grow Your Potential CIC, Kojikojo Limited, Marsh House Studio Ltd, N-Gage Therapeutic Care Ltd, OCEM Limited, Prospero Group Ltd, Shine Learning and Training Centre Beds Ltd, Stable & Wild Limited, The Educatch Charity, The Regulation Station CIC and Tute Education.

The individual lot values range from £100,000 to £10.8 million including VAT, with the notice stating that framework lot values may be shared with other lots.

The framework is expected to run from 8 September 2026 until 31 August 2036.
