Hampshire County Council Awards £777,600 Resettlement Accommodation Preparation Contract

Hampshire County Council has awarded a contract worth £777,600 to NEON INTEGRATED SERVICES LTD to provide accommodation preparation services for individuals and families relocating to Hampshire under Government refugee resettlement programmes.

The service will furnish and equip matched properties for households arriving through the Afghan Citizens Resettlement Scheme (ACRS), Afghan Relocations and Assistance Policy (ARAP) and the UK Resettlement Scheme (UKRS). The contract may also support individuals and families who originally resettled under Community Sponsorship or transferred into the county.

The contract covers the procurement, delivery, installation and preparation of white goods, furniture, bedding, kitchen and bathroom equipment, and curtains or blinds before families arrive in Hampshire. It also includes the provision of removals between properties and requires the supplier to maintain the capacity to support the council with an average of 24 properties per year.

The award follows an open procedure, with six tenders received and assessed. Hampshire County Council stated that this notice replaces the contract award notice published on 29 June 2026, after due diligence determined that the originally awarded bidder was no longer the most advantageous tenderer.

NEON INTEGRATED SERVICES LTD was awarded the four-year contract, which has an estimated value of £777,600 excluding VAT and is expected to run from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2030.

The award decision was made on 28 July 2026, with the earliest contract signature date scheduled for 21 August 2026following the standstill period.
