Westminster City Council is inviting tenders for community and maternity support services across Westminster and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (RBKC). The contracts aim to improve health and wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and help residents access local services through trained community volunteers. The maternity programmes will provide culturally appropriate peer support, health promotion and outreach for expectant and new parents.
The procurement is divided into three lots:
The procurement covers Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea. Suppliers should consult the tender documents for the full specifications and delivery requirements for each lot.
The Council will use a Most Advantageous Tender (MAT) approach for each lot, with the following weightings:
The opportunity is identified as suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).
Providers should review the tender documents for the full participation requirements and service specifications. Delivery involves community engagement, volunteer support, outreach, health promotion and signposting residents to appropriate Council, NHS and voluntary sector services.
These contracts offer community-based organisations and specialist support providers an opportunity to deliver local health and wellbeing programmes, support expectant and new parents, and help reduce health inequalities across Westminster and Kensington and Chelsea.
