All-Age Independent Advocacy Service

Cornwall Council is seeking a provider to deliver an integrated All-Age Independent Advocacy Service across Cornwall, alongside statutory adult advocacy provision for the Isles of Scilly.

The service will support children, young people, adults and eligible parents across health, social care, children’s social care and community settings, helping individuals understand their rights, communicate their views and participate in decisions affecting their lives.

The contract will bring together an Advocacy Hub and single point of access, statutory adult advocacy, children and young people’s advocacy, Independent Visiting, parents’ advocacy, and community and specialist advocacy under one service model.

Providers must demonstrate experience delivering advocacy services of a comparable size and complexity, including the capability to provide both statutory and non-statutory advocacy. Requirements also cover safeguarding, data protection, equality and diversity, health and safety, advocacy quality standards and modern slavery.

The opportunity is identified as particularly suitable for SMEs and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).

Quality evaluation will include written responses and a Quality Presentation.
