Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (HPFT) is establishing a new Support in the Community Framework for community-based support and homecare services for adults with mental health needs across Hertfordshire.
The open framework is valued at approximately £36 million and will establish defined service levels, geographical lots and agreed rates. It is expected to operate for up to eight years, with opportunities for the framework to reopen to new providers.
Providers may bid for and be awarded a maximum of two lots.
When individual requirements arise, eligible providers within the relevant geographical lot will receive an anonymised referral detailing the person’s assessed needs and required support. Where multiple providers can meet the requirement, the service user will be supported to select a suitable provider based on their needs, preferences and the provider’s proposed support arrangements and capacity.
